Talk to the brain to make changes or get reasoned answers. Use this for any create/update/delete request or questions requiring reasoning across content. For simple lookups, use search/get/list directly.

Resolve a pending confirmation returned by chat. Use this only after chat returns needsConfirmation with an approvalId.

Search entities using semantic search. For broad search, make one system_search call with scope.kind all. Use scope.kind type only when the user asks for a specific entity type. Applies a default minScore of 0.5 to reduce weak matches; lower minScore only for exploratory or loose recall. Search results are candidates; do not present weak or unrelated candidates as exact matches.

Retrieve a specific entity by type and identifier (ID, slug, or title). If retrieval fails, report the entity as not found rather than describing related generation work as pending.

List entities by a known entity type. Returns metadata only — use system_get for full content. Use system_search, not system_list, for broad or vague lookup requests. Use system_list to inspect metadata dates such as publishedAt when the user asks for the latest item of a known type, such as latest blog post.

Inspect runtime job status for ready checks only when the prior operation created a job, or for status disputes. With a known batch ID, pass batchId. Without an ID, call this tool with no arguments to list active jobs and batches; do not ask the user for an ID first. Do not argue from the transcript alone.

Get system status including model, version, interfaces, and tools

Get aggregate content insights and analytics only. For a general overview of actual content, use system_list instead. Available types: overview, publishing-cadence, content-health, topic-distribution.
